It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherrie Rice of Newberry, South Carolina, born in Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Junior and Jessie Richardson Rice; her brother Bobby Rice; and her pet Tiger. She is survived by: her children, David Hutto, Jr. (Samantha) and Paula Hutto; her siblings, Elaine Phillips, Angie Wooten, Patricia Millard, Tony Rice and Pete Rice; and her grandchildren, Johnny Hutto III, Thomas Hutto, Kayla Williams (Jacob), Bekah Raines (Ryan) and William Meetze. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
