It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Shaw of Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen Shaw to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Lee and Annie Lou Shealy Epting; and her sister Clara Jean Burnett. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Allen Shaw (Denise) of Newberry and Lee Franklin Shaw (Lisa) of Newberry; her sister Margaret Ann Oswald of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Amy S. McEntire (Mayes), Jimmie Lee Shaw (Katie), Tabitha S. Harmon (David), Allison S. Plumblee (Michael) and Michael Shaw (Callie). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church 228 Jalapa Road, Newberry, SC 29108.
