He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Soles and Bernice Soles; and his children, Lewis Reginald Soles and Laura Williams. He is survived by: his wife Nan Soles; his children, Terrie Holden (Bill), Abby Soles, Jim Williams (Brenda), Kevin Williams (Leslie) and Cathie Rhodes (Robert); his grandchildren, Beth Thacher (Shawn), Christi Murray, Hannah Jones (Carson), Kaitlyn Williams, Rachael Greer (Jon), Emily Cunningham (Bruce), Dakota Holden (Olivia), Amber Sellers (Harley), Ella Williams, Zander Holden, Rebecca Rhodes, Kaleigh Williams and Rylie Rhodes; and his sisters, Wanda Faulk (Gerald), Cindy Hilburn (Ricky) and Julie Timmons (Donald). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMillan-Small Funeral Home (910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Grand Strand Church of Christ (2212 Glenns Bay Rd, Surfside Beach, SC 29575). A burial will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526).
