He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne Stephens of Mountain Rest; and his parents, John Loy Stephens and Francis Blondine Stephens. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Eugene Stephens (Tina) of Walhalla, SC, Jerry Scott Stephens (Shirley) of Commerce, GA, Wesley Matthew Stephens (Leigh) of Clemson, SC and Jeffrey Bryan Stephens (Angie) of Belton, SC; his sister Mary Ellen Mann (Tom) of Walhalla, SC; his grandchildren, Christopher Stephens, Amber Stephens, Melissa Gaines and Bryce Stephens; and his great grandchild Wren Gaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501, St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

I have had him on my mind lately and decided to google so I could get his phone number He was a very thoughtful man. I met him many years ago at OINKERS. He followed me through my pregnancy and would mail or hand deliver birthday cards to both my daughter and I. I am sure he is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus with his wife who was just as sweet as he was! Neal/Nina/Bella Crump.”
