He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Crumpton Harden; his parents, John Louis Harden and Edna Belle Rowland Mitchell; his daughter Marvi Diana Harden; his brother Charlie Mitchell; and his grandson Tyler Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Missy McCall (Mark) of Mountain Rest and Kristy Parham (Lane) of Walhalla; his siblings, Annette Smith of Spartanburg, Loretta Smith of Walhalla and Roger Harden of Boston, MA; his grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Landon Chappell, Kamryn Webb, Rhett Parham, Kynlee Parham and Jacob McCall; and his nephew Chub Mitchell.
