He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Duncan Sandifer; his parents, John Mintz Sandifer and Lena Petty Sandifer; his daughter Lori Bea Sandifer; and his brothers, Charles Sandifer, Ed Sandifer, Jim Sandifer and Bob Sandifer.
He is survived by: his children, John Sandifer (Dianne), Thomas Sandifer, Jr. (Amy), Mark Sandifer (Kimberly) and Jill Sandifer; his grandchildren, Jamie Vincent, Kelly Geiger (Caleb), Aaron Sandifer (Stephanie), Dr. Ben Sandifer (Brenne), Brandon Sandifer, Sam Sandifer (Bailee), Harrison Sandifer, Kaleigh Marcengill (Andrew), Emaline Sandifer and Hunter Creek Sandifer; his great grandchildren, Ava Vincent, Mia Vincent, Mary Ellison Geiger, Madison Sandifer, Avery Geiger and John Ripp Sandifer; and his siblings, Beverly Callahan, Frank Sandifer, Wayne Sandifer and Randy Sandifer.
