She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Paul A. Washington and Caroline Zoll Washington; her siblings, Queen Hester Washington, Melvin Washington and Waymond Washington; and her daughter Gardenia Washington Young.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Washington, Anthony Broughton and Vivienne Broughton; her grandchild Jahrid Broughton; her siblings, Laura M. Simmons, Juanita W. Richburg, Johnell Washington, Deacon George Washington (Debbie) and Evangelist Barbara White; and her in-law Leon Broughton (Inez). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
