She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Leonard Mellard and Jeanette Dangerfield Mellard. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer G. Riser (John) of Roswell, GA and Darby S. Gallagher (Teresa) of Moncks Corner; her brothers, Gary A. Mellard (Robin) of Pinopolis and Ralph L. Mellard of Pinopolis; and her granddaughters, Katherine Gallagher, Rachel Gallagher, Emma Riser and Chloe Riser.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Berkeley Animal Center, 131 Central Berkeley Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
