She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Harold Sandusky and Florence Biglin Sandusky; her sons, John Wayne DeHay (Shirley) of Bonneau, SC and James Rutledge DeHay of Pinopolis, SC; her husband Rutledge DeHay; and her sons, Richard H. DeHay and Robert "Buddy" DeHay. She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
