He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter John and Mildred Carr; and his brothers, Vernan and David Carr. He is survived by: his wife Rosella J. Carr; and his children, Mike, John Jr., Timothy, Patrick and Susan J. McCard. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
