He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Cornelia C. Sexton. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara S. Clark (Anthony), Reverend "Jackie" McNeil (Anthony) and Sonya Gray; and his sisters, Dorothy S. Barksdale of Greenville and Jessie M. Scearce of Versailles. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren.
