He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ross Gillian and Frances Kirkland Leopard; and his brothers, William Earl Gillian, Donald Frank Gillian, Kenneth Dean Gillian, Duane Ross Gillian and Terry Keith Gillian.

He is survived by: his stepfather Wayne Leopard; his children, Stuart Gillian (Kim) of Clinton, Charles Gillian (Autumn) of Clinton and Tequila Fuller (David) of Clinton; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
