She was predeceased by: her parents, Felton Booker T. Smith Jr. and Willie Mae Smith. She is survived by: her children, Marco Wharton (Valerie) of Mauldin, Bobby Thomas Jr. of Fountain Inn, Wakisha Wharton (Undrey) of Fountain Inn, Baneka Thomas of Fountain Inn and Carima Wharton of Fountain Inn; and her siblings, Robert Smith (Emily) of Simpsonville and Carolyn Wilson of Simpsonville. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
