She is survived by: her son Leonard Bernard Byrd; and her siblings, Robert E. Byrd (Madge), Jerell Byrd Jr. and Christine B. Mickens. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
