She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Sims and Elsie Faulkenberry Sims; her son Johnny Hudson; and her siblings, Randy Sims and Frances Sims Johnson.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, John Cody Hudson of Simpsonville, SC, Andrew Woods (Olivia) of Comer, GA and Dr. Misty Woods-Corcoran (Daniel) of Hillsborough, NC; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Hoffman of Mauldin, SC.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
