With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Gray Sumerel (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Houston and Mary Ellen Bailey Gray; her son Larry Sumerel; her sister Shirley Guerin; and her granddaughter-in-law Shaina Summerall.
She is survived by: her daughter Marche Adams (Randy) of Laurens; her sisters, Teresa Smith of Alabama and Sheila Young of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Rickey Summerall, Jr. (Lizzy) of Laurens, Houston Summerall of Laurens and Brittney Summerall of Belton. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
