She is survived by: her husband Mitchell DeHart; her children, Shannon Jellison, Kendra Ernst, Clinton Scott, Angel Tong and Mary Beth Briggs; and her brother Charles "Chuck" Chaffee. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
