She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Vaughn and Marion Adams Vaughn; her husband Larkin Hughes, Jr.; and her grandson Chris Hughes. She is survived by: her children, James Roger Hughes of Ware Shoals, Larkin "Sonny" Hughes III of Ware Shoals, Joseph Craig Hughes, Debra Jean Benton of Ware Shoals and Carolyn Diane Lee (Kenneth) of Ware Shoals; and her siblings, James (Vaughn) and Patricia Ann Church of Greenwood. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
