He is survived by: his spouse Alva Coleman Pinson; his children, James Walter Pinson of Laurens, Wade Harrison Pinson of Greer and Pamela Elizabeth Pinson Riopel of Clinton; his stepdaughter Kelly Patterson (Sterling) of Mountville; his sisters, Eleanor Pinson Cooper of Laurens, Brenda Pinson Martin of Laurens, Carolyn Pinson Sprouse (Kenneth) of Laurens and Sandra Pinson Tumblin (Grover) of Laurens; his grandchildren, Lilly, Wyatt, Adalynn, Sullivan, Grant, Katlyn, Matthew, Patrick, Anna and Emily; his stepgrandson Cole Patterson; and his great grandchild Paisley Mae Riopel.
