It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie Mae Campbell (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brooks Sims, Sr. and Miranda Cheeks Sims. She is survived by: her children, James Roger Campbell of Greenville, Dorothy McCullough, Linda Campbell, Margaret Spurgeon of Greenville, Patricia Rivers of Columbia, Rhonda Campbell and Chandra C. Smith of Simpsonville; her siblings, William Calvin Sims of Gray Court and Catherine Finley of Gray Court; and her sisters-in-law, Katrina Sims of Greenville, Mildred Sims of Butler, GA and Carrie Sims of Fountain Inn. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; eight great, great-grandchildren.
