He was predeceased by: his parents, Istvan Magda and Anna Levai Magda; and his brother Ioan "Mack" Magda. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his son Joe Magda (Lisa) of Laurens; his granddaughter Ashley M. Higgins; and his siblings, Steve Magda of Denver, CO and Anna Magda-Kovacs of Romania.
