With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth McDaniel Fridy of Laurens, South Carolina, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Earl and Bess Cooper McDaniel. She is survived by: her sons, Fred H. Fridy, III of Laurens and Steven E. Fridy (Kaye) of Laurens; her sister Nancy Culbertson (Richard) of Laurens; and her grandchildren, Josh Fridy, Mariel Cooper (Isaac), Stewart Robertson and Philip Robertson (Holly). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
