He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie J. Thomason and Essie Smith Thomason. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Thomason of Clinton and Beth Paulman of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Hampden Thomason of Oregon and Kimberly Dial of Virginia; his great grandchildren, Brenden, Abigail, Lillian and Michael; and his sister Louise Hodges of Chapin.
