He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Fowler and Lucy Steadman Fowler. He is survived by: his sisters, Georgia "Chi Chi" Eleazer (Jim) of Inman, Pam Dove (Steve) of Chappells and Joy Penland (Roger) of Inman; and his son Sandy Fowler.
