It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne McMillian Jones (Laurens, South Carolina), born in Clinton, South Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Leaman D. Jones, Sr.; her parents, Lonnie S. McMillian, Sr. and Emily Phillips McMillian; and her son Bob Jones of Clinton. She is survived by: her children, Danny Jones (Jane) of Greenwood, Nancy Jones Bruyere Sperling (James) of Clinton, Lawrence Byrd Jones (Sharon) of Simpsonville and Lonnie Jones (Ella) of Simpsonville; and her caregivers, Clemie Anderson and Laurice Rouse.
