She was predeceased by: her parents, James Catledge and Essie Wilson Catledge; her former husband Vaid Helms; and her siblings, James Catledge, Jr., Howard Catledge and Mary Bigham.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Plyler; her daughter Margaret Anne Griffin (Tommy) of Calabash, NC; her stepchildren, Tracy Plyler of Lancaster, Dean Plyler (Renee) of Lancaster, Brenda Buchanan (Donald) of Georgia, Sandy Ackerman of Lancaster, Vadene Echols of Ladson, SC and Abbe Adams (Reggie) of Lancaster; her granddaughters, April Frost (Paul) and Amy Noles; her great grandchildren, Rowan Frost and Gavin Frost; and her stepgrandchildren, Madison Adams and Chloe Adams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
