He was predeceased by: his parents, Euphra Jenkins Plyler Abernathy and Howard Plyler; his siblings, Joanne Edwards, Harris Plyler (Marcene) and Claude Plyler (Coleen); and his grandmothers, Lucy Plyler and Ola Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Dessie Craig Plyler; his daughter Salena Hudson (Randy); and his stepgrandsons, Jay Hudson (Hope) and Jonathan Hudson (Rosaana).
