She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Starnes and Mildred Elizabeth Mackey Starnes; and her sister Ann Adams. She is survived by: her husband Orren Milton Powell of Lancaster; her sons, Christopher Milton Powell of Lancaster and Stephen Matthew Powell of Lancaster; her siblings, Lewis Starnes (Amy) of Lancaster and Brenda Grier (Sonny) of Lancaster; and her grandchildren, Lacey Lowery, Grace Powell and Roxanne Powell. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
