It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine W. Plyler of Lancaster, South Carolina, born in Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lafayette M. Waters, Jr. and Nannie Stroud Waters. She is survived by: her husband Aaron Wheeler Plyler; her daughter Charlene Renee Starnes (Brandon); her grandchildren, Cory Michael Rowell and Haleigh Alexis Rowell (Andrew); her great grandchild Briar Kori Chapman; and her son-in-law Eric Kelly Rowell.
