She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Brister and Walter Brister. She is survived by: her husband Chip Thompson; her son Ryan Thompson of Madeira, OH; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Dianne; her daughter Lauryn Sargent (Brian); her grandchildren, Allison and Molly of Washington, DC.; her siblings, Debbie Barker (Travis) of Granbury, TX, Drew Farr (Joe) of Monroe, LA, Danna Braud (Hud) of Monroe, Donna Van Veckhoven (Mike Van Veckhoven) and Walter "Bubby" Brister (Bonnie) of Covington, LA.; her friends, Bruce Boulware, Robert Durham, Roger Johnston and Bill Eaton; and her brothers-in-law, Travis Barker and Ben Patterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dianne's name can be made to any charitable organization of your choice, including MD Anderson, the Alzheimer's Association, Atrium Health, Levine & Dickson Hospice House, American Cancer Society and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
