With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Wright of Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Watts Wright; his wife Virginia "Jenny" Wright; his son Thomas Wright; his stepmother Johnnie Mae Wright; his granddaughter Railey Wright; and his brothers, Johnny Wright, Dennis Wright and Pete Wright.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger Wright and Tony Wright (Mandi Smith); his grandchildren, Madison, Jacob and Whitley; and his siblings, Lounell Rodd, Rhonda Brasington, Susie Snow (Barry), Paula Nabors (David) and Franklin Eugene "Skin" Wright.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Lancaster County Children's Home.
