He is survived by: his spouse Whykiea Handy Cauthen; his son Adrian Cauthen of Stone Mountain, GA; his stepson Frank Mitchell Jr. of Winnsboro, SC; and his daughters, Robin Cauthen Hanks Shepard of Connecticut and Alissa Cauthen Woods of Connecticut. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
