It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry E. Parnell of Lamar, South Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Parnell and Lois Player Parnell; his wife Patricia Parnell; his brothers, Billy Parnell, James Kistler Parnell, Don Parnell and Kenneth Parnell; and his aunt Ladelle Watford.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Parnell (Cathy), Kenny Parnell and Shannon Parnell Odom; his stepchildren, Junior Mack and Gwen Green (Bill); his grandchildren, Austin, Rachel, Autumn, Jacob, Anna, Arin, Samantha, Abby Grace, Atley and Melody; and his great grandchildren, Pressley Ann, Clay, Delila, Waylan and Parker.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lamar First Baptist Church, 303 Main Street, Lamar, South Carolina 29069.
