Lorene Hayes Boggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Hayes Boggs of Iva, South Carolina, born in Starr, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Alice Burton Hayes; her children, Donnie R Boggs (Patricia), Carolyn Nolan (Robert) and Helen Rutherford (Carl); her grandchildren, Kyle Williams and Susan McCoy Page James; her husband Frank Carl Boggs; and her siblings, Cecil Hayes, Paul Hayes, Grady Hayes, Lois Gray, Grace Smith, Sadie Billings, Bertha Jones, Alice Peace and Lonita Mize.
She is survived by: her children, Frank M. Boggs (Kathleen) of Duluth, GA, John B. Boggs of Iva, Beth McCoy (Herbert) of Greenwood, Daisy McKee (late Archie) and Brenda Balchin (late Allan) of Iva; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Fuller Boggs (late Donnie). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
