He was predeceased by: his father J. T. Christian; his stepfather Roland C Angley; his children, Jeremy Shane Christian and Shannon Nicole Wilson; and his son-in-law Kyle Wilson.
He is survived by: his mother Mary "Edith" Slaton Burriss; his children, Bert Christian (Misty) and Michelle Gibbie (Joe); his grandchildren, Jennifer Davidson (Joe), Jimmie, Jamie Bell, Caitlyn, Jacob, Austin, Cody Christian, Chase Moore and Noah Shane Wilson; and his siblings, Jim Christian (Kathy), Barbara Byrum, Wanda Parks (Harold), Debbie Russell (David) and Donna Hayes (Rick). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
