He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford A. Balchin and Betty Singleton Balchin. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gail Boggs Balchin; his daughters, Patricia McDonald (David) of Williston and Janice White Saxon of Anderson; his siblings, James Milford of Abbeville and Darrelyn Baughman (John) of Abbeville; and his grandchildren, J. T. LeRoy of Texas, Andrew LeRoy of Anderson, Amanda White (Troy Wheeler) of Anderson and Christopher Saxon (Crystal) of Anderson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
