He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Louis Green, Sr. and Clary Clemmons Green; his wife Lynette Mitchell Green; and his stepson William Mitchell. He is survived by: his siblings, Catherine Hatcher (Joe), Richard Green, Joe L. Green, Jr. (Lois), Kenneth Green and Mary Ann Green; his stepchildren, Kaniesha Mitchell, Rasheed Mitchell and Spencer Mitchell; and his close friend Lakeisha Evans. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
