She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Guess Utsey and Margaret Oliver Utsey; her husband John Lewis Wiggins, Jr.; her daughter Jane Wiggins Thompson; and her sisters, Helen Utsey Turner and Anne Utsey Price Neely.
She is survived by: her children, John Lewis Wiggins, III (Beverly) of Holly Hill and Anne Wiggins Smith (Glenn) of Aiken; her grandchildren, John-Michael Richard Huckaby (Ryan), Charles Raymond Thompson, III (Kristen), Joanna Wiggins Hart (Adam), John Lewis Wiggins, IV (Athena), William Gilmore Thompson and Anne Elizabeth Thompson Reeder (Hart); and her caregivers, Gladys Smith, Gwenn Barksdale and Deborah Shaw. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
