She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Jackson Smith and Doris Newsome Smith. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Benjiman "Tony" Spell; her son Austin Thomas Spell (Jennifer) of Florence; her sisters, Judy Alden of Charleston and Phyllis Connelly of Edisto Beach; her grandsons, Tyler Spell and Jaxon Spell; and her brother-in-law Archie Spell (Kim) of Gilbert.
