She was predeceased by: her parent Russell E. Smoak; her husband Bill Schell (Day); and her sister Sara Smoak Heath of Greenville, SC.. She is survived by: her children, Russell Lewis (Elizabeth), Caroline Shuler (Jacob) and Ben Lewis (Kathy) of Holly Hill; her stepchildren, Connie Schell, Leeanne Pearson, Bill Schell and Christopher Schell of San Diego, California; her sister Millie Smoak Wilson of Greenville, SC; and her sister-in-law Kay Outka of Ames, Iowa. She is also survived by grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many, well-loved nieces and nephews.
