He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline Myers Sweatman and Perry Sweatman; and his siblings, Hamlin Sweatman, Jimmy Sweatman, Perry "Pete" Sweatman, Edward Sweatman and Dorothy Wiles.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mildred Williams of Holly Hill and Danny Sweatman (Italeen) of Harleyville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
