It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Sweat of Holly Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Sweat and Louise Gilmore Sweat Wiggins; his sister Dorothy Mae Sweat Benjamin; his stepmother Lurene Sweat of Holly Hill, SC; his siblings, Corel Sweat (Vera) of Columbia, SC, Joseph Sweat (Winnie) of Hillside, Stella Nadine Brown of Charlotte, NC, Belinda Bland (Ronald) of Lawrenceville, VA, Rita Young (Timothy) of Columbia, SC, Cielita Kim and Stephanie Sally of Santee, SC; and his niece Angie Johnson of East Waterboro. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
