He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mack Hinson and Gladys Stroud Hinson; his son Raymond Hinson; and his brothers, William Hinson (W. F.), George Hinson, Mack Hinson and Wade Hinson.
He is survived by: his wife Bertie Tucker Hinson; his children, Randall Wayne Hinson (Deanna) of Heath Springs, SC and Lesia Allen of Heath Springs, SC; his daughter-in-law Kristen Hinson of Heath Springs, SC; and his siblings, Lee Hinson of Greer, SC, James Hinson of Great Falls, SC, Annetta Martin of Lexington, GA and Hattie Polston of Heath Springs, SC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
