It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Hartis (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh B. Plyer and Isabel Greene Plyer; her husband Walter J. Hartis; and her nephew David Plyler. She is survived by: her brother Jerry Wayne Plyler (Debbie); her grandchildren, Nikki Hartis, Chrystal Hartis and Clayton Hartis; her niece Linda Ann Plyler Railey; and her great grandchildren, Bella, Carrie, Eddie, Haley, Emily, Layla and Eaddy.
