He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mose and Mitte Mae Manning Stacey; his wife Shelba Jean "Jackie" Thompson Stacey; and his siblings, Mack Stacey, Byron Stacey, Dennis Stacey, Grace Barlow, Oscar Stacey, Dr. Otto Stacey, Ferramae Stabler, Ed Stacey, Rob Stacey and Dr. George Stacey.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Stacey (Sue) of Leesville, SC, Denny Stacey (Beverly) of Lamar, SC and Scott Stacey (Rachel) of Hartsville, SC; and his girlfriend Melanie Easterling of Hartsville, SC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Stacey requested that memorials be made to ALS Association at PO Box 37022 Boone, IA 50037-0022.
