He was predeceased by: his parents, George Freeman Sr. of Washington and Myrtle Warren Freeman; his girlfriend Faye Sims; and his siblings, Henry Lee "Ted" Freeman, George W. "G. W." Freeman Jr., Charles Edward "Chuck" Freeman, Frances Hall, Etta Ree Gainey, Daisy Brazzell, Margie Smith and Bernice Teal.
He is survived by: his brother Rick Freeman of Hartsville, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
