She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles Hutchinson and Ellen Gainey Hutchinson; her husband Joseph King Rivers; her siblings, Luther, Grover, Blease, Frank, Bill Hutchinson, Maggie Howle and Lanell Anderson; and her grandson Jacob Haithcock.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Watford, Kim Allison (Willard) and Joey Rivers (Cathy); her sister Louise Pritchard; her close friend Ruth Hoffman; and her grandchildren, Heather Smith (Dub), Haylea Powers, Kat Roberts (Matt), Aleisha Ainesworth (Richard), Trey Allison (Beth) and Rachel Wright (Brad). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
