He is survived by: his wife Susan Stewart Goode; his brother Larry Allen Goode (Jill Goode) of Summerville; his former wife Rose Price Goode of Baxley, Georgia; his children, Johnny Clifton Goode, Jr. (Amy Cox Goode) of Roseboro, Sandra Goode Woodle (Alfred Douglas Woodle) of Baxley, Georgia and Heather Morgan Smith (Charles Lee Smith) of Hartsville; his grandchildren, Devyn Jacob, Colton Thayer Woodle of Baxley, Georgia, Katie Goode Ballance (Jackson Ray Ballance) of Roseboro, Charlize Savannah Smith of Moncks Corner, Stella Marie and Claire Victoria Smith of Hartsville; and his great grandchildren, Charles Luke Ballance and John Afton Ballance of Roseboro.
