It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Herring Jr. (Hartsville, South Carolina), born in Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herring, Sr. and Margie Atkinson Herring; his sister Judy Merritt; and his father-in-law Louis Reel. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Herring; his children, Christian Herring (Anna Tadlock) and Emily Herring; his brother-in-law Bob Merritt; his mother-in-law Hazel Reel; his sister Sandy Hart (David); and his pets, Indie, Bailey and Henry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
