It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin D. Freeman (Hartsville, South Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion T. Freeman and Sarah Hicks Freeman; his wife Wanda Walters Freeman; and his sisters, Virginia Parker, Margaret Dixon and Joyce Talbert.
He is survived by: his children, Franke D. Freeman, Jr., Tonda Freeman and Tasha Freeman; his grandchildren, Justin Tyler Freeman (Ashley), Conner Nicole Freeman, Courtney F. Ghoens (Jessie) and Parker Strickland; his great grandchildren, Weslynn Michelle Howle and Ezra Ward Ghoens; and his siblings, Vivian Johnson (William), Shirley Gainey (Larry) and Freddie Freeman (Ginger). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
